For one special report he was working on for final magazine volume he has been searching for a few useful view-point. I became happy. His magazine report analysed The soccer. If he intended to team up with me I assured. Firstly I uttered I am a fully simple gentleman. I am a total team booster as per my conscious I thereupon added.
He ought to have thought it sarcastic that i thought of me at first. Interestingly the author did not start out any peristing account about it. A few credible quotes on the aspects of why and how soccer moves on the sports were expected from me. Excellent! After all my due to release book speaks about how and why soccer can create disagreement for sports. He then stated me an examplar of a sales agent who constantly out performs his peers. Neither boundaries are regarded by the sales agent the journalist further spoke. Precarious example this would be i added. Sensing the dramatic situation I examined where are the materialistic boundaries?
Furthermore he wished some snappy catch phrase based on soccer. Exclusive scenarios demand uncommon people such made my commencing observation. Whenever you carry a striking persona others know you. If soccer products are exclusive along with being in accord with soccer people would carry them.
Now some of the market jargon were desired from me. In order to work on his write up he asked Market words.I presented the journalist one. sports products that the consumers are unable to afford or need are howsoever purchased by them. In case soccer is worthy to them the consumers ought to buy them.
He did not perceive this chap to be in favor of soccer. Basically he wished to carry forward a substantially pessimistic picture of soccer. I however deliberated to become one. My final view however kept as positive as the previous ones.
I forethought I would have realised of those characters that are catchy, cockeyed, as well as sarcastic. Discovering things off each other is indeed a praiseworthy activity. soccer is invalid specifically when they are invalid at their performance. In case you stand out peeps would be unable to acknowledge you. Making a rational decision can probably break this muddle. Inconceivable words were intended of me. There are times when activity you would do would not be expected. You must select Email football promotion plan as the factor for sports industry. You can consistently trust on newsletters and fascinating boxes. Enchanting box is a Plexiglas box used for accumulating competition choices. The contest choices collected by Magic box may communicate the true picture of the status of products among individuals which would be a feed-back for email marketing in trade.
By drafting an email newsletter just recently; I worked out in detail how to begin and keep up the expedition for football promotion. Statistics of the outcomes presented a rosy picture of sports trade and propagandizing through email newsletter looked like essential for this industry. This sports expedition implemented an email newsletter recommendation with an offline enchanting box. Sales may increase in value with the assistance of this Enchanting box. The advertizing expedition mobilized public opinion and persons liked to purchase football product which eventually resulted in the appreciation in sales.
Email marketing is economical than the advertizing by postal service. One percent of acknowledgment rate from direct mail can be taken into account as a good stimulus to sports market. If you would like to perform well in sports industry; decide on email promotion. The campaign for email propagandizing has worked favorably and most of the purchasers have shown magnificent acknowledgment. football merchants have clearly won over the purchasers for their goods.
So, football email advertizing is the best technique to approach to buyers and to make the football brand popular among them. The strategy of newsletter subscription on regular basis is beneficial for sports trade. Thus, by email promotion you can increase the sale of your football product. Try to get the pulse of the buyers and keep a close eye on the business; it will benefit a lot in your market. For this expedition to be successful, you need to make use of permission-based emails. Give consideration to purchaser's request for journal. It gives a bad conviction to your advertizing strategy among customers.
Technorati Tags:
worldcup, world cup, football, soccer, FIFA

CAPTAIN Michael Ballack has recovered from a minor foot injury and is fit to play in their quarter-final against Argentina on Friday.
Chelsea new-boy Ballack missed training on Sunday morning, but boss Jurgen Klinsmann said: "It's all healed - he's perfectly fit."

"Ballack is of great importance to this team. He reads the game well and is prepared to sacrifice himself. He has a key role."
Klinsmann's assistant Oliver Bierhoff says Germany believe the momentum they have built with four successive wins can sweep them to glory.
He said: "You can see how the players are carried along by results and support. We can compete against Argentina, who I reckon are the strongest team in the tournament."
ARGENTINA
SKIPPER Juan Pablo Sorin has urged his Argentina team-mates not to allow Germany to dictate the pace when the two sides on Friday.
Sorin is wary after Germany blew away Sweden with two goals in the first 12 minutes of their last 16 tie. He said: ""We already have to play against a top team and, being the hosts, they' will have huge support.
"They are quite an attacking team for Germans with two very explosive strikers. "They' have gained a lot of confidence.
"We need to impose ourselves on the game. The team that manages to impose its own rhythm will dictate the match. "They usually play the same style and I think that will benefit us.""
ENGLAND
PETER Beardsley believes Michael Carrick will keep his place in Sven Goran Eriksson's side for Saturday's quarter-final with Portugal.
Ex-England ace Beardsley is a graduate of the famous Wallsend Boys' Club in Newcastle like Carrick and was impressed with the Tottenham midfielder's first start in Germany against Ecuador on Sunday.
Beardsley said: "Carrick was fantastic. A lot of people were surprised by his selection beforehand, but he hardly gave the ball away and he allowed Stevie Gerrard and Frank Lampard to get forward a lot more than in the previous two games.
"Michael deserves to be in the starting line-up against Portugal after that performance."
PORTUGAL
FULL-BACK Miguel says Portugal need to re-think their tactics as Costinha and Deco are banned for Saturday's quarter-final with England after being sent off against Holland.
And winger Cristiano Ronaldo is a doubt after limping off in tears following a fierce challenge from Khalid Boulahrouz which left the Manchester United winger with a gashed thigh.
Right-back Miguel said:
"Costinha and Deco are two great losses to the team. We are going to have to try even harder, play even better.
"England are a very strong team in midfield, we have a lot of respect for them because they work hard and they play a very direct game.
"But we certainly have the quality to beat them."
BRAZIL
ROBINHO has been ruled out of today's game against Ghana with a thigh injury suffered in training.
The striker's misfortune means a reprieve for Inter's out-of-sorts hitman Adriano.
Robinho aside, coach Carlos Alberto Parreira has no other worries as the five-time winners prepare to face the debutants.
Ronaldinho said: "If we are to play the football we want to play, then we will have to avoid their marking, which means we will have to move the ball quickly. And we will have to improve. They have shown they are a good team."
Cafu is set to play a recordequalling 19th World Cup match for Brazil, while Ronaldo needs one goal to beat the record he shares with West Germany legend Gerd Muller of 14 World Cup goals.
GHANA
INFLUENTIAL Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien is suspended for today''s game with Brazil.
But Razak Pimpong hopes to be fit after injuring a rib against the USA.
Ghana have only met Brazil once before - in a 1996 friendly - when the Brazilians hammered them 8-2.
Keeper Dida is the only current Brazil player on the pitch that day and Ghana coach Ratomir Djukovic is upbeat. He said: ""We have seen shocks can and do occur. Perhaps it is better to face Brazil now as they are not yet into their stride.
"But we have to focus on our own strengths and not worry about them. It will be difficult as Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos and Cafu can hurt you.""
SPAIN
COACH Luis Aragones is set to hand skipper Raul and midfielder Cesc Fabregas starts in Spain's clash with France.
Aragones rested most of his first-teamers, like Fernando Torres, for the final group game against Saudi Arabia.
But Raul and Arsenal's Fabregas both did enough to keep their places, so Luis Garcia and Marcos Senna are likely to miss out tonight.
Aragones, 67, said: "A coach has to look at the small details that decide games, and one of the things I want to do is to make sure we control the game.
"My aim is to hit the nail on the head. I'll be the first to admit if I get it wrong.
"For us, it is vital to have the ball and with these two it will be easier to do that."
FRANCE
BOSS Raymond Domenech has Eric Abidal and Zinedine Zidane back after bans, so his only dilemma is whether to play Thierry Henry alone up front.
If Domench goes with two strikers, David Trezeguet is likely to start in Hanover.
French defender Willy Sagnol, meanwhile, has hit back at claims by Spain that Les Bleus are too old.
Sagnol said: "I really don't believe age will be a deciding factor in this match - but experience might.
"We are not feeling tired and still felt fresh towards the end of our last group match against Togo.
"We are ready for this test and all realise that the way we played against the Swiss or the Koreans will not be good enough against the Spaniards."

Australians _ many of whom know more about tries and wickets than headers and corners _ laid claim Friday to a place among soccer's top nations after their team's high-drama advance to the World Cup's last 16.
"It is a great sporting moment," said Prime Minister John Howard, who was among millions of Australians who rose before dawn to watch the Socceroos' claw back against Croatia for a 2-2 draw that sent them into the competition's second round for the first time ever.
Howard was filmed leaping from his armchair and throwing his hands in the air when star winger Harry Kewell landed the second equalizer in the 79th minute. "He is King Harry for all of us now. It was a fantastic performance," Howard told Nine Network television.
More than 3 million of Australia's 20 million people had been expected to watch the game despite its 5 a.m. local time start, Australian rights holder the Special Broadcasting Service said.
The result led radio and television news bulletins on Friday, and at least one newspaper printed a special edition. "YES!" was the front page headline of the special edition of Sydney's The Daily Telegraph.
It also breathed new life into Australia's hopes to host a future World Cup, with two state leaders announcing plans to bring proposal for a national bid to their counterparts next month.
Asian Football Confederation president Mohamed bin Hammam told The Associated Press this week the region should get the competition again in 2018, and Australia, India and China were strong candidates.
"Australia as a continent is enjoying a very strong economy. The infrastructure there wouldn't require much investment," he said. "The governments always support the big events like World Cup _ I believe Australia would host a very good World Cup."
Although proudly sport mad, Australia is a latecomer to the higher echelons of international soccer in the modern era. It is a current or former world champion in rugby and cricket, punches above its weight at the Olympics and in tennis, and last week celebrated Geoff Ogilvy's U.S. Open win as its latest golfing triumph.
But Australia hasn't reached a World Cup finals since 1974, and it's never gone further than the first round _ despite producing players that dot key slots in European leagues.
A slick management team took over the organization of the sport in recent years after an era of mismanagement, and enlisted Guus Hiddink with the single-minded goal of making the World Cup.
It worked.
"Australia is officially an international force in soccer," Australian Broadcasting Corp. announcer Tony Eastley told a national radio audience Friday.
Howard also called it a breakthrough. "For so long we had in Australia hundreds of thousands of young boys, and increasingly girls now, playing soccer ... but somehow or other we couldn't break through into the international scene," he said.
But Australia, who defeated Japan 3-0 and lost to favorite Brazil 2-0 in Group F, is considered the underdog when it meets Italy in the knockout round.
Tens of thousands gathered in winter weather to watch Australia's match against Croatia on giant screens in Sydney and Melbourne. More went to pubs and bars that opened early, and others viewed from home.
At Sydney's Circular Quay, more than 1,000 erupted as Kewell goaled after a tense game.
The triumphant roar echoed across the country.
In downtown Melbourne, more than 10,000 people _ many of them with faces painted in Australia's green and gold colors _ lit flares, waved flags with kangaroos wearing boxing gloves, and hollered their support.
Crowds marched through the streets blocking traffic, singing and turning cartwheels, Australian Associated Press reported.
"I'm proud to be Australian, this is what it means to be Australian," said one Sydney spectator, Adrian Gatt.
Police said 15 people would be charged with minor offenses related to lighting flares and misbehavior.
Among Australia's sizable ethnic Croatian minority, feelings were mixed.
"I'm wearing Croatian colors but when Australia scored the goal I sort of felt more passion," said Steve Jakicic, who watched the game at a Croatian community hall in Melbourne. "I'm proud of my heritage, proud of my background but proud of being Australian."

Be a sports Patron: Aggrandize a product or popularize me an experience!
sports forerunners create their own space and allow others to do the same as well. Precursors at sports appreciate that they can affect a number of sports conditions and hence they recognize the football responsibility thoroughly. The precursors admit that one is not greater than other, this suggests respect for all while accomplishing the common aims.
Clearly the world of sports forerunners is graded into two groups demarcated by product and experience. With consideration to your links with sports you must be through as to where do you stand. The popularizing game of offline football generators is hastily changing. Everybody like to appreciate the time available or want to get the things done hastily to save some of it. The criteria to ascertain your football client service is two fold, one is how you interpret your buyers and the second one is as to which of the above two methods you implement.
I would like to explain a simple truth that folks during their save time duration select shopping for their goods and services. And rate is a key condition here. If I'm a commodity shopper, I'll tolerate low consumer service levels and will constantly expect it. Item marketers consist of supermarkets, department stores and large hardware retailers. Good assistance is fully unexpected when people are purchasing football, so if they get it, they mainly are very amazed.
If we are not going to get high quantities of football customer's service, which we look for while looking for an experience in the business, we will truly complain about it. When buying for achievement, football price is not the critical issue. Accomplishment does play a fantastic role over here. The amount of input you put into customer service depends on where you observe your football and sports, but don't get pressed in the middle either. Advertize me an item or advertize me an experience!
Technorati Tags:worldcup, world cup, football, soccer, FIFA

Jose Pekerman's team produced the performance of the tournament so far, with a superb exhibition of free-flowing attacking football that was rewarded with goals from Maxi Rodriguez (2), Esteban Cambiasso, Hernan Crespo, Carlos Tevez and Lionel Messi.
It also convinced Kezman, who was sent off midway through the second half, that he could have seen the eventual World Cup winners dismantle his side.
"We had a very bad day," he said. Even the hard core undisguised people do these kinds of things. This is the time you must look for the reason behind the story of truth-bending on a sizeable scale. We seem to be in a position where we don't mind persons escaping the truth may be because it in no way hurts us. I might opt for to know the rationale behind the well considered change in the concept of sports and football.
I'm not interacting regarding putting your best foot forward here, exhibiting your best side to the camera, or taking a decision not to expose minor football matters. I'm talking about amplifying the professed bonuses of football. I am interacting regarding fabrication of football testimonials. football references project football what it is not in the real sense of the term. Would you like to discuss this idea? The solution is one for me and that is NO. I don't want to agree with the actualities which are not true of football.
You might ask me why I don't like to escape the truth about football. The type of relationship I have with my customers does not allow me to prepare something wrong related to my football product. Above all my clients believe me. If you want a long-term relationship with your patrons then you must be worthy of the customer's choice. Enhance your football to such an extent that customers would not distract from your football. In reality you might offer them football they perceive to be of unique value, and deliver it with the promise implicit in that value.
To become trustworthy for your consumers, always be true to your patrons. There is no manner you can have patron faith except this one. Furthermore, don't permit anybody to hamper you when you are about to achieve your aim and for that focus on your job. Try to make your mind to do everything to achieve your objective with the very beginning of the day. You must not worry about other things.
If you are expected to embrace the challenge, success may be yours. I am not talking in regards to risks which could put your football in jeopardy, rather concerning the risks which are projected and thought out. You ought to know your limit before you venture out for anything. If you follow an old saying, be positive and reach your motive. Even if there is something wrong with you, discover it to know is there any positive out come coming up eventually? "It has been a long wait."
The worst of it is over. Though it will take a month to determine a champion, we'll get a hint over the next five days just where soccer's superpowers stand.
The Germans kick off the party tonight, without their injured captain Michael Ballack, against unheralded Costa Rica. The host nation tested the field at Munich World Cup Stadium where a mostly partisan crowd of 59,000 hope coach Jurgen Klinsmann's squad will make it a festive curtain raiser.
Tomorrow, it's England's turn as it hopes to make easy work of Paraguay up in Frankfurt.
By Gerald Businge
With just a few hours to the 2006 Fifa World Cup opening in Germany, Ugandans have already started reaping rewards from the world’s famous sport and are hoping to reap more till the last day of the world cup.
With just a few hours to the 2006 Fifa World Cup opening in Germany, Ugandans have already started reaping from the world’s famous sport and are hoping to reap more till the last day of the world cup.
In Uganda’s capital, Kampala, World Cup fixtures are selling like hotcakes. At 100 Uganda shillings per copy of the fixtures, youths in Kampala may find no reason to go for pick pocketing.
Be it on the streets or in offices, the boys are pocketing thousands of shillings as football lovers are also demanding for the fixtures.
Eating and drinking joints are also waiting for the much awaited World Cup to reap more than they have for years. The Television shops here are up to this time getting customers demanding for the TV sets.
Video Hall in and around the capital are not about to show any movies until the end of the World Cup season. The Video halls have turned into ‘World Cup Hall’.
Ugandans are just waiting for the first whistle but being able to witness this will depend on whether there will be power at their homes.
But that is what they have already planned for. If they cannot afford a generator, 500 Uganda shillings should be enough to have them watch the World Cup. This is what the World Cup Halls proprietors are waiting for.

To Project soccer As What It Is Not In Reality Is A Crucial Concern.
All of us speak a lie every now and then just to get away from inconvenience. Even the sincere honest folks do such things. Now we need to talk about the trend of truth-bending that is so much ubniquitous in our society. Writing off some of the deceptions which are not pinching shows that we have become use to them. How far it is suggested to distort the facts concerning sports/soccer, let me know.
I don't blame that you are endeavoring to hide the soccer loopholes by demonstrating the best part of it. Something concerning soccer product is assumed to be fruitful and is exaggerated very frequently. This is what I am conversing about. My worry is none other than the soccer item and its acceptance on big scale. It is pointing to the fact that the facts being exaggerated concerning soccer are not true. What do you suppose about this? The solution is one for me and that is NO. Fabricated soccer reference is futile for me if I am managing this soccer.
The way I embrace the fact about soccer could be shocking for you. Why I resist any sort of fabrication is nothing but the feeling I keep for my consumers. Above all my patrons believe me. Nurturing a long-term relationship is not uncomplicated and for that you need to be responsive to your client's mood. If you equate your soccer with the your client's selection, they may select your product only. In fact you would promise your client for a rare sort of soccer by launching the product in the market.
By regularly satisfying your promises to your customers, you and your soccer become reliable. There is no method you can have consumer trust except this one. To accomplish the aim is called triumph and for that you should be strict and self centered. At the beginning of every day get yourself into the frame of mind that you would only do tasks which could get you closer to your sports goals. Nothing else could matter to you.
You will have an opportunity only if you take some risks. I didn't mean the kind of risk which might defeat the sports goal. The risk should be reasonable and logical. And ultimately, try to measure the loss or gain you may incur in this game plan. Triumph will be yours if you don't loose your brain, specific old books claim. Get to the habit of finding a silver lining even in the back drop of a casualty. Do you know that the route to victory also moves through the soccer flaw.

Technorati Tags:
worldcup, world cup, football, soccer, FIFA

Very few people are betting against Brazil at the World Cup.
The Brazilians have so many of the best players in the world, own a record five World Cup titles and carry the greatest aura in soccer. The national team has won two of the last three titles, losing in the other final and is coming off a successful 2005 season.
There's no denying Brazil is heavily favored to win the tournament in Germany. The Brazilians acknowledge that -- as do most of their opponents.
The Brazilians, however, will be the first to point out that things won't be as simple as they look.
"It's true that we have great chances to win the World Cup," Coach Carlos Alberto Parreira said. "But that doesn't mean it's a done deal. We still need to play the matches and win them. And we know that's not going to be easy. All teams will be trying their best to beat the defending champions."
Brazil is as strong a favorite as ever. In addition to comfortably leading FIFA's world rankings since 2002, Brazil won the 2004 Copa America and last year's Confederations Cup. It also finished first in the South American World Cup qualifying group, ahead of rival Argentina.
The team will be led by two-time FIFA Player of the Year Ronaldinho, and he will be supported by all-stars including Kaka, Ronaldo, Adriano, Cafu, Robinho and Roberto Carlos.
"We have a very strong team, very technical and experienced," said Ronaldo, the hero of the 2002 title team.
Brazil's World Cup record is unmatched. It has reached the semifinals in 10 of the 17 World Cups since the competition started in 1930, and is the only team to have played in every tournament. It was runner-up twice.
Brazil has played 87 World Cup matches, winning 60 (including the last seven), tying 14 and losing only 13. It has outscored its opponents, 191-82.
But no matter how good Brazil may be, history shows it could have a hard time in Germany.
After winning its first two titles in 1958 and 1962, Brazil was heavily favored to clinch a third in 1966 in England. Even with Pele in his prime, the team played poorly and was eliminated early.

Top of Form 1
Bottom of Form 1

School children and soldiers, you're out of luck. No free tickets to the World Cup.
Organizers had considered giving away tickets in order to fill empty seats at stadiums during the tournament, but abandoned the idea as not practical.
"Despite all our efforts, we realize there will be no-shows," German organizing committee vice president Horst Schmidt said Saturday. "We tried to devise a system but were not very successful. We thought of soldiers, clubs, schools, but it's impossible to organize. They have to wait, and then there may not be any tickets.
"So we'll use volunteers who do not have any specific thing to do. Anything else is not feasible."
At the 2002 World Cup, organizers were criticized because tens of thousands of tickets weren't used. For this World Cup, which begins Friday in Munich, the criticism has been that too many tickets have been reserved for sponsors, affiliates of FIFA and organizers. Security measures put in place to limit counterfeiting and ticket scalping have also come under fire.
"I have been involved in many World Cups, and I must say this World Cup is extremely well-prepared," said Lennart Johansson, the chairman of the FIFA World Cup organizing committee.
More than 98% of the more than 3 million tickets that were initially available have been sold, putting this World Cup on pace to be the second-best attended behind the 1994 World Cup in the United States — which drew nearly 3.6 million fans.
About 64% of the World Cup tickets were reserved for sponsors, affiliates, competing teams and non-competing soccer federations. Since May 15, 11,000 of those tickets were put on sale to the general public and sold, Schmidt said.
"People have a moral obligation not to keep a ticket they know is not going to be used," FIFA general secretary Urs Linsi said.
German officials have also encountered some problems with a new system that allows fans to pick up tickets that have already been paid for at "ticket centers" near the stadiums. Fans can also use the centers to change the name on tickets. Each ticket has the holder's name printed on it in a bid to reduce fraud.
"One fan mistakenly was able to buy a ticket at the ticket center and this created a stampede," Schmidt said, referring to an incident in Gelsenkirchen on Tuesday.
Segregating fans of different teams has been an effective method to reduce clashes between rival supporters, but Schmidt realized this probably would not be possible with the return system.
"They're are fans from rival teams that have not always been amicable," Schmidt said. "But this can be completely different at a World Cup. Fans can get along with each other very well."
With the tournament less than a week away, officials appeared confident.
"Six days before the start of the tournament, we need to accelerate the process," Schmidt said. "I'm fairly optimistic it will run smoothly."

Others may have been responsible for creating the ultra-skilful brand of attacking play known as ‘Total Football’, but Cruyff will be remembered as the philosophy’s embodiment.

Vic Buckingham, who coached the young Cruyff at Ajax in the 1960s, summed up the Dutch master’s range of talents.

"He could do everything — set movements up, fly down the wing, run into the penalty area, head the ball in. Left foot, right foot, anything — and such speed. God’s gift to mankind, in the football sense. That was Johan."

Born in 1947, Cruyff became a star with Ajax at 19, helping the Amsterdam side win the league and finishing as top scorer in his first full season with the club. His skills were granted a wider audience in continental competition, and in 1966 he excelled as a member of the Ajax team which trounced Bill Shankly’s Liverpool 7-3 over two legs, a landmark result for Dutch football.

The same year also saw Cruyff awarded his first international cap, scoring on his debut against Hungary.

Two months later the tempestuous side of his nature flared up when he became the first Dutch player to be sent off in an international.

With Holland yet to fully develop as an international side — they missed qualification for the 1970 World Cup — Cruyff had to content himself with parading his genius in club football.

Between 1966 and 1973, before he joined Barcelona, he won six league titles with Ajax, four Dutch Cups and a hat-trick of European Cups in 1971-73.

He was also crowned European Footballer of The Year in 1971, 1973 and 1974.

The 1974 World Cup Finals in West Germany looked set to be a coming out party for Holland, with Cruyff as captain, and all looked to be going to plan as the Dutch cruised into the final against the hosts.

From the kick off against the West Germans, Holland were superb. Fifteen passes linked together, Cruyff darts into the box and is fouled, penalty. Converted by Cruyff, 1-0 Holland, with the Germans yet to touch the ball.

Cruyff was to be denied the World Cup crown however. Holland, intent on humiliating the hosts, allowed Germany back into the match and eventually lost 2-1.

While in Germany, Cruyff’s rebellious streak shone through.

He rowed with Holland’s football federation, refusing to wear adidas boots supplied under a contract agreed with the German manufacturer, and he even played in a shirt with only two stripes instead of adidas’ famous three.

Although he played in Holland’s qualifying campaign for the 1978 World Cup, Cruyff refused to play in Argentina, and his 48th and final game for the Dutch national side came in 1977 against Belgium.

A spell in America was followed by a return to Ajax in 1982, where he won another league title, before moving to Feyenoord where he won another championship in 1984.

Czech midfielder Vladimir Smicer has announced that he will not play for the Czech World Cup squad in Germany.
Smicer, 33, made the announcement to journalists in Prague after a meeting with national squad manager Karel Bruckner and doctors at which they concluded that his long running injury problems prevented him starting in the competition.
Smicer broke the news to fellow players at midday Thursday.
"It was not easy. It was emotional and tears were shed. But it would not have been fair of me if I was to go to the tournament and was not able to help the team," he said.
Czech football federation officials have invited him to spend some time with the team in Germany.
Smicer has been sidelined since February with a tendon injury sustained when playing for French side Bordeaux. His problems worsened last week when he was taken to an Austrian hospital after injuring his right leg during shooting practice with the national squad during World Cup preparations at an Austrian Alpine retreat.
In spite of the fresh injury Bruckner refused to rule out the ex-Liverpool player from his World Cup plans saying that he had until June 11 to take a final decision.
Smicer's possible replacement, Libor Sionka, newly signed for Glasgow Rangers from Austria Vienna, joined the Czech squad at their Austrian retreat last week.
Czech team spokesman, Lukas Tucek, said Sparta player Tomas Sivok had also joined the team, the agency CTK reported. A final decision on Smicer's replacement has not been taken

SMOLAREK DOUBT
Poland striker Ebi Smolarek may miss the World Cup warm-up game against Colombia on Tuesday due to food poisoning, team officials said on Monday.
Smolarek, usually a right-sided midfielder, was a surprise choice up front alongside Maciej Zurawski in the Poles' 10-0 demolition of local Swiss side St. Gallen on Sunday, scoring three times in a game played behind closed doors.
"Smolarek was in bad shape after the flight and coach Janas decided to let him rest from training this evening," team spokesman Michal Olszanski said.
"It looks like he ate something bad on Sunday and has a light stomach problem. We are hoping he may be better in the morning, but he may not start against Colombia."
The Poles begin their World Cup campaign against Ecuador on June 9. They also play hosts Germany and Costa Rica in Group A.
Their final friendly is against Croatia in Wolfsburg on June 3.
"We will try different options in the game with Colombia tomorrow. Then you will be able to see what style of game we will prefer," Janas told reporters.
